List of Certificate and Diploma Programs Offered for Less Than Ksh 60K as KUCCPS Extended Deadline.
The extended application deadline was announced by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) on Monday, February 26. This will allow more students to obtain their desired academic programs and career paths.
The platform’s numerous technical issues, which have prevented students from finishing their applications, are what led to the extension. Notwithstanding these difficulties, KUCCPS has reassured students that steps are being taken to address the problems and guarantee a seamless application procedure.
It is recommended that students submit their applications by March 4. has put up a list of certificate and diploma programs that cost up to Ksh60,000 while accepting applications.
Diploma Programs and the Organizations That Offer Them
Students interested in pursuing a diploma in Banking and Finance can enroll in the course at the University of Embu TVET Institute for Ksh60,000.
For Ksh60,000, the university is also offering an accounting diploma. At the Embu-based college, a Human Resource Management diploma is also available for Ksh60,000.
Moreover, Ksh60,000 is the price for Entrepreneurial Agriculture. Additionally, the course costs Ksh60,000 for individuals who want to pursue a career in counseling (with a focus on trauma counseling and disaster management).
In the meantime, diplomas in land surveying and cartography are currently available from the Kenya Institute of Surveying and Mapping for Ksh57,800 apiece.
Students can pursue a diploma in remote sensing and photogrammetry at the same university.
A diploma in Water Resources Management and Technology is available from the Kenya Water Institute for Ksh59,6000. The same Ksh59,600 is required for a diploma in Water and Waste Water Laboratory Technology.
Students can apply for a Ksh59,600 diploma in information communication technology at the same universities.
Students at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology can apply for two diplomas, one in Security and Intelligence Studies and one in Disaster Management. The cost of each certificate is Ksh60,000.
Certificate Programs and the Organizations That Offer Them
Students can apply for a Water Engineering certificate at the Kenya Water Institute for Ksh56,000 for certificate programs. For Ksh56,000, it also provides a certificate in information communication technology.
A project management certificate from the University of Embu TVET Institute is available for Ksh52,500 in the interim. For Ksh52,500, it also provides a certificate in supply chain management.
Additionally, the Kenya Training Institute charges Ksh55,800 for a variety of certificate courses. Supply Chain Management, Tourism and Travel Management Level 5, and Tourism Management are a few of the courses offered.
The others are Maritime Transport Logistics, Road Transport Management, and Tour Guiding and Travel Operations.
