KNEC RELEASES NEW OFFICIAL PAYMENT RATES FOR CONTRACTED SUPERVISORS, EXAMINERS, AND INVESTIGATORS.
New payments to KNEC 2023. The Contracted Professionals platform, often known as CP2, has urged teachers who are members of the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) to sign up.
The portal is run by the Kenya National Examination Council (Knec), and it is utilized to send in hired experts for national tests.
Drivers, teachers, and security personnel are a few examples of contracted occupations.
Teachers from preschools, elementary schools, and high schools will deliver the exams this year.
After the tests are finished and the results are made public, Knec will be able to quickly deploy and pay the teachers by entering their information.
The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams will be taken this year by 2.3 million pupils, according to a statement from Knec.
Around 1,415,315 applicants will sit for the KCPE exam, and another 903,260 will sit for the KCSE exam.

The Council has proposed new security measures to prevent cheating at this year’s national exam.
Examiners will no longer select all of the day’s examination papers in the morning.
Instead, centre managers, who are also school principals, will select only the morning publications.
Knec has purchased more containers in order to provide examination storage facilities in schools.
Under the new structure, this will reduce the time required to select and drop examination papers.
These are some of the new measures that will be implemented for national exams in one month.
After candidates finish the morning paper, they will be returned to the container while the afternoon papers are picked.
