KUCCPS Gives Students New Notice Two Days Before the Application Deadline.

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has advised students facing challenges in applying for Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) placements to visit official KMTC campuses for assistance.

On Wednesday, while announcing a two-day deadline reminder for applicants, the placement service urged them to physically approach KUCCPS officers at any of the 27 listed campuses across the country.

Among the official stations listed for assistance were Awendo, Imenti, Kakamega Navakholo, Kangema, Kangundo, Kerio Valley, Kinangop, and Kitui Mutomo campuses.

Other institutions included campuses in Kuria, Kwale, Lamu, Makueni Mbuvo, Mandera, Maua, Mbooni, Ndhiwa, Nyamache, Othaya, Rera, Shianda Mumias, Tana River, Taveta, and Transmara.

Similarly, applicants encountering similar problems were urged to visit the KUCCPS Headquarters in Nairobi or physically present their grievances at any of the Huduma Centres across the country.

Alternatively, if the problem persists, an applicant can contact KUCCPS officers directly by phone at 020 5137400 or send an email to info@kuccps.ac.ke.

While making the announcement, KUCCPS informed candidates that the program application portal would be closed in the next two days, on February 14, 2025.

“KMTC and TVET applications will close on February 14, 2025. Two days to go! Feeling stuck? Visit any of the KMTC campuses for assistance by KUCCPS officers,” read part of a statement by the placement service.

“Our officers are also present in Teso, Chwele, Ugunja and Lugari campuses to provide support and guidance to applicants,” KUCCPS added.

The application portal was officially opened on January 25, to allow students to enrol in courses of their choice.

In the notice, the placement service listed more than 35 courses that were available for application.

KUCCPS Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Agnes Wahome addressing stakeholders moments after announcing the KMTC application, stated that the opening of the portal was in line with the new format of application that allows application in different phases and for different categories of students.

Wahome revealed that form four leavers who sat the KCSE examination from the year 2000 to 2024 were eligible to apply for the slots.
