With approximately 600 million shillings, the 4,595 primary school teachers who are currently assigned to job group C1 will be moved to job group C2.
Another 400 million shillings will be used to move 2,637 university teachers from group C3 to group C4 at the same time.
In addition, 652 university teachers in grade D3 will be transferred to grade D4 with the help of more than 175 million shillings.
13,713 principals of secondary and elementary schools, deputy principals, senior masters, secondary teachers, principals and assistant principals will also be promoted.
In this category, the most open position is Deputy Principal II for regular primary schools with 7,720 places.
Under this new plan, 2,733 principals in ordinary primary schools, 1,330 teachers in secondary schools, 1,725 deputy principals II, 602 heads in ordinary schools, 224 deputy principals III will be promoted. in secondary schools and 208 senior teachers II.
In total, the Treasury will have to give TSC at least 2.2 billion shillings so that the teachers can be promoted and their new salary can be paid.
