POSITIONS AT TSC FOR TEACHERS WORKING AS PRINCIPALS AND DEPUTY PRINCIPALS

POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR TEACHERS TO BE DEPLOYED IN HARD-TO-STAFF COUNTIES/SUB COUNTIES AS PRINCIPALS, DEPUTY PRINCIPALS, HEAD TEACHERS, AND DEPUTY HEAD TEACHERS
According to Article 237 of the Constitution, the Teachers Service Commission was created as constitutional commission. 
Establishing and deploying institutional administrators is one of its responsibilities.
To fulfill this duty, the Commission is accepting applications from teachers serving as Head Teachers, Deputy Head Teachers, Principals, and Principals for the positions listed below in the ASAL and Hard-to-Staff Counties/Sub Counties listed below:

Garissa is made up of the Baringo (Baringo North, Tiaty East, Tiaty West, and Marigat Sub-Counties. Samburu, Taita Taveta, Tana River, Turkana, Wajir, and West Pokot are among the counties represented by Homa Bay (Suba and Mbita Sub-Counties), Isiolo, Kajiado (Mashuuru, Loitoktok, and Kajiado West Sub-Counties), Kilifi (Magarini and Ganze Sub-Counties), Kitui (Mumoni, Mutitu North,

In order to be received on or by January 31, 2023, interested applicants who meet the requisite credentials may submit their applications online using the TSC portal at www.teachersonline.go.ke. Applications submitted manually will not be accepted.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

i.be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Principal at TScale 12 (D2);

iii.meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and

iv.meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

i.be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Principal at TScale 11 (D1);

ii.have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;

iii.meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and

iv.meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

i.be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Principal at TScale 10 (C5);

ii.have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;

iii.meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and

iv.meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

i. be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Principal at TScale 9 (C4);

ii.have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;
iii.meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and

iv.meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

i.be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Principal at TScale 8 (C3);

ii.have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;

iii.meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and

iv.meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

i.be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Deputy Principal at T-Scale 10 (C5);

ii.have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;

iii. meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and

iv.meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

ii. have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;

iii. meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and

iv. meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

i.Be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Head teacher at T-Scale 9 (C4);

ii. have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;

iii. meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and

iv. meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

i.be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Deputy Head teacher at T-Scale 8 (C3);

ii.have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;

iii. meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and

iv.meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

i.be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Deputy Head teacher at T-Scale 7 (C2);

ii.have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;

iii.meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and

iv.meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

ADVERT NO. 30/2023: SENIOR TEACHER II (C2/ T-SCALE 7) – 284 POSTS

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

i. be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Deputy Head teacher at T-Scale 6 (C1);

ii.have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;

iii.meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and

iv.meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

NOTE:
a) Applicants shall be required to upload the letter of deployment to the current
responsibility during application.

b) Candidates who will be successful in the interviews shall be required to present valid Chapter six documents before they are considered for appointment.
