August 2023 TSC Per school, there are permanent replacement positions. The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) plans to hire new teachers to replace those who left the service due to attrition this year. These educators are dispersed across the country.
The commission intends to replace the professors who departed their positions in July and August.
The Commission will provide a list of open positions, as well as information on the schools where they are situated and the subject combinations necessary at those schools.
The Commission will also make public the subject combinations that these institutions are required to offer.
“Successful candidates will be deployed to serve in any part of the country, not necessarily the county where they were recruited,” Macharia explained. “This does not necessarily imply that they will serve in the county from which they were recruited.”
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has undertaken a massive initiative to increase the number of available teaching positions.
Long-term work contracts with pension security will be offered to newly hired teachers.
The TSC welcomed qualified applicants to submit their applications online at Teachersonline.tsc.go.ke or www.tsc.go.ke under the “Careers” part of the Commission’s website.
Application for TSC Replacement
You must have a TSC number and be a Kenyan citizen to apply for a job in Kenya.
Candidates interested in the role should apply through the TSC Online website at Teachersonline.tsc.go.ke.
Teachers must maintain current academic credentials, which must include the following:
Primary and secondary school certificates
To register an account, you must have a certificate of completion of higher levels.
Applicants for primary school positions must meet the following requirements:
KNEC Primary Teacher Education (PTE) Certificate (P1 Certificate) or a Bachelor of Education (Primary Education) from a Kenyan government-recognized university with two teaching specialities
Secondary school instructors must have a bachelor’s degree in education from a program known for developing educators.
They must have at least two credit passes in the subject of study, as well as a minimum grade average of C+ in KCSE or its equivalent (one major subject and two minor subjects at A level).
