About Little App Kenya
Little is a pan-African mega app that offers commonplace services in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Senegal, Somalia, and India, including food delivery, utility payments, and ride hailing.
responsibilities are:
- Create, deploy, and manage apps built using Laravel.
- Create and deploy effective web services and APIs.
- Work together with front-end developers to incorporate server-side logic into user-facing components.
- Create and manage databases using MySQL or other appropriate software.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues.
- Actively participate in the entire application lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility of projects.
Requirements:
- You have a great understanding of PHP and Laravel framework.
- Proficient in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with React.js and React Native for building web and mobile applications.
- Familiar with RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
- Understanding of Docker and containerization principles.
- Able to configure and manage Windows networking environments.
- Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Experience with other PHP frameworks such as Symfony or CodeIgniter.
- Experience in ERPs is an added advantage
