TSC’s Teacher Replacement Program Set to Begin on this Date

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has launched a new program to replace professors who have retired due to natural causes.

TSC Chairperson Dr. Jamleck Muturi declared that there are open positions to replace teachers who have resigned owing to natural attrition.

During a news conference at Tambach Teachers Training College, Mr. Muturi said that the government will prioritize areas with teacher shortages in recruiting and deployment.

Despite a nationwide teacher shortage of roughly 100,000, the speaker claimed that the government constantly gives the opportunity to hire 5,000 additional teachers each year.

Muturi asked educational sector participants in Elgeyo Marakwet to work together to improve education throughout the county.

The commission is working to create a friendly environment for students and teachers, emphasizing the necessity of including all stakeholders in delivering high-quality education.

The commission is actively hiring instructors around the country and invites graduates to apply for open positions as soon as they become available.
