Students who missed KMTC placement encouraged to reapply;
Students who were not initially placed in KMTC courses through the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) have a new resource available to them in the form of a webpage that was just developed by KUCCPS.
Students have the opportunity to make free changes to their course schedules between September 12 and September 16. Prior to this change, the application deadline was on August 4th.
If you applied for KMTC courses through KUCCPS but were not accepted, you can select another KMTC course at no additional cost by visiting the students section of the KUCCPS website http://(http://students.kuccps.net). Students who may be qualified are encouraged to look up additional information at the website http://kuccps.ac.ke.
The application process for all 30 medical training programs in Kenya can be completed on this platform. Since KMTC has joined KUCCPS, students in Kenya can now enroll in courses leading to degrees, diplomas, certificates, and artisanal qualifications at any of the country’s 289 state training institutes or 30 private universities.
There are a variety of diploma and certificate programs offered, some of which include community health nursing, mental health and psychiatry, midwifery, radiography and imaging, medical laboratory sciences, occupational therapy, optometry, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and public health.
This option to apply for the position is available, as stated by Mercy Wahome, CEO of KUCCPS, to anyone who has passed the KCSE between the years 2013 and 2022.
