HELB Applicants Joyful as Disbursement Begins
HELB applicants can rejoice since disbursement is about to begin. Helb monies will be distributed this month through the Helb-Mpesa sub-programme, enabling students fast access to money.
The Helb-mini software allows students to access their aid money and check their payment statement at any time.
For students to conveniently access monies, Safaricom and Helb have introduced the Helb-Pesa mobile wallet and mini app.
The Helb application enables students to conveniently obtain current status and statements without having to visit the office.
“Collaboration will be more convenient for users,” says Charles Ringera, CEO of Helb.
“Through this partnership, we will build and deliver mobile and digital solutions,” said Safaricom CEO Peter Ndegwa.
This would make it more comfortable for all users by allowing them to access services directly from their mobile phones,” he explained.
The first loan application for first-year students will kick off this service.
