MOE OFFERS MONTHLY STIPENDS FOR FREE ABROAD SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarships at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels have been made available by the Kenyan government’s Ministry of Education. Scholarships funded by the governments of Hungary and China are included in this programme.
200 Kenyan students are slated to get scholarships from Hungary, per an announcement made on a Tuesday. These individuals will receive annual medical coverage in addition to their Sh18,850 monthly stipends. According to the announcement made by the Hungarian government, 30 Hungarian universities will participate in the Stipendium Hungaricum Programme in the 2024/2025 school year. About 800 courses covering a wide range of subjects are offered, with English as the primary language of instruction.
You have until January 17, 2024, to submit an application for these scholarships. If you’re a resident of Kenya and you’ve applied to study medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, architecture, law, veterinary medicine, or forestry engineering in Hungary and were accepted, you can study in Hungary. There will be some programmes available in English and Hungarian, others in German and French, and still more in a variety of other languages.
Meanwhile, Chinese universities offer a wide variety of programmes in fields as diverse as medical, marketing, tourism, music, economics, and computer science to Kenyan students who choose to study abroad. An average of B or above on the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), completion of secondary school within the past three years, being under the age of 25, and possession of an original KCSE certificate are the requirements for admission to undergraduate programmes.
Beyond the monthly stipends and medical care, scholarship applicants will also enjoy free lodging throughout the whole term of their study. Apply at http://apply.stipendiumhungaricum.hu/ or http://campuschina.org if you’re interested. This is a fantastic chance for students in Kenya to receive financial aid from outside and study abroad.
