TSC Job Posting for Head Teachers; How to Apply
The Teachers Service Commission is established as a Constitutional Commission by Article 237 (1) of the Constitution.
The Commission is seeking applications from appropriately qualified teachers for the positions listed below, in accordance with the Career Progression Guidelines for Teachers.
Under Advert No. 56/2023 (C4-C5), the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is happy to offer employment vacancies for the position of Head Teacher (Regular Primary School). There are 1049 open positions, providing an exciting opportunity for skilled individuals seeking leadership roles in the education industry.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for this position:
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years as Deputy Head Teacher II on the TSC Scale 9.
A track record of satisfactory performance as determined by the performance appraisal process.
Leadership Skills: The capacity to effectively supervise, mentor, and provide professional counsel to colleagues.
Integrity and Ethics: Adherence to the requirements for integrity and ethical behavior contained in Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
Other conditions: Fulfillment of any other conditions considered necessary by the Commission.
Candidates must have served in the current grade for a minimum of two years and live in Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASAL) or Hard-to-Staff counties.
