How to Apply for 65 ECDE Positions in Kericho County
The Kericho County Public Service Board is actively looking for talented, motivated, and competent persons to fill a variety of jobs in the Departments of Education, Culture, Library, and Social Services. This recruiting is in accordance with Article 176 of the Kenyan Constitution and County Governments Act No. 17 of 2012.
Kericho County has a number of ECDE centers.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver classroom instruction.
2. Serve as positive role models for students, providing guidance, counseling, mentorship, and encouragement.
3. Create reports on teaching activities.
4. Ensure pupils’ safety and well-being.
5. Assist in the organization and facilitation of student-centered play-based learning activities.
6. Encourage students’ complete development, including spiritual, moral, social, mental, physical, aesthetic, and emotional growth.
7. Supervise ECDE classrooms and keep professional and administrative records such as work schedules, lesson plans, daily activity schedules, and attendance registers.

Appointment Requirements:
1. A minimum of a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) grade D+ (Plus) or a Kenya Certificate of Education (KCE) division IV at ‘O’ Level.
2. KNEC/Ministry of Education provides a certificate in Early Childhood Development Education.
3. Include your TSC number if you are registered with the Teachers Service Commission.
4. Include a reference letter from the appropriate school’s Headteacher (as specified in the advertisement).
