TSC Unveils Replacement Slots Release Date

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has launched a new program to replace professors who have retired due to natural causes. TSC Chairperson Dr. Jamleck Muturi declared that there are open posts to replace teachers who have retired owing to natural attrition.

Mr. Muturi announced during a news conference at Tambach Teachers Training College that the government will prioritize locations with teacher shortages in the recruitment and deployment process. He noted that, despite a statewide teacher shortage of almost 100,000, the government continuously offers opportunities to hire 5,000 new teachers each year.

Muturi asked stakeholders in the Elgeyo Marakwet school sector to work together to improve education quality across the county. The commission is aiming to promote a welcoming environment for students and instructors alike, emphasizing the importance of all parties in delivering high-quality education.
