Enumerators of Data for Data Collection

CPHRM Group is looking for experienced data collecting enumerators to work with us on an important data quality assurance project.

This job will entail gathering sampled household data in 18 Kenyan counties. We invite you to apply if you are devoted, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to relevant development initiatives.

Job Specifics Locations:

Kilifi, Lamu, Kwale, Taita-Taveta; Tana River, Garissa, Kitui; Samburu, Laikipia, Isiolo; West Pokot, Baringo; Murang’a and Tharaka Nithi.

Remuneration:

Successful applicants would be paid Kshs 2,200/= (Two Thousand, Two Hundred Shillings) each day. This remuneration is intended to cover daily wages and logistics and will be based on the appointment letter’s daily targets. Payments will be made at the conclusion of each fourteen-day data gathering cycle.

Principal Responsibilities:
You will be expected to do the following as a data collection enumerator at CPHRM Group:

Visit sampled households to interview eligible respondents and gather data with a prescribed digitizing instrument.
Explain the assignment’s objectives and processes to household respondents in detail.
Assist respondents in understanding interview questions so that they can provide a thorough and correct response.
Conduct detailed and in-depth visual surveys of randomly selected households.
Conduct additional probing of responses to confirm the information provided is correct.
To ensure data accuracy, double-check information on survey information pads.
Maintain constant contact with your supervisor about your progress and completed assignments.
Identify and report any problems encountered while attempting to gather legitimate data.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
You should have the following qualifications and skills to be considered for this position:

At least a C- Minus average or its equivalent in form four education.
Physical fitness is required for this position because it may demand walking long distances and working long hours.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Computer proficiency is required.
