Course Coordinator – Literacy
The position
- The Course Coordinator – Literacy will oversee the implementation of intensive train-the-trainer sessions, instructing managers and school leaders from public schools in the IBATE program as part of the F4L Project. They will also be in charge of delivering and modifying the course material, creating training manuals and materials, and designing presentations.
Responsibilities
- Perform periodic needs assessment and base line testing in the area of expertise
- Conduct, Mark and analyze results from selection testing and impact study
- Develop and deliver programs in the area of expertise
- Provide comprehensive learning support to program participants
- Maintain attendance and perform records of the course participants and the HoPDC
- Coordinate Portfolios as allocated by the HoPDC
The requirements

- A master’s degree or higher in English Instructional Design.
- Experience in Adult teaching and Learning in Literacy and English.
- Experience working in a developing country context particularly East Africa.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Experience in Course Coordination.
- At least five years of teaching experience.
