Business Development Officer Needed at Transpesa Limited.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of our M-PESA outlets network. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and nurturing strategic partnerships with potential M-PESA agents, merchants, and service providers. With a deep understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior, the Business Development Manager will develop and execute growth strategies to increase the accessibility and availability of M-PESA services across target markets.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities for expanding the M-PESA outlets network. Analyze consumer behavior, competitor offerings to inform strategic decision-making.
- Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with potential M-PESA agents, merchants, and service providers. Negotiate partnership agreements and ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Recruitment and Onboarding:Â Lead the recruitment and onboarding process for new M-PESA outlets. Provide training and support to ensure partners are equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to deliver exceptional service.
- 4. **Performance Monitoring:** Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of M-PESA outlets. Monitor sales metrics, transaction volumes, and customer satisfaction levels to evaluate the effectiveness of growth initiatives.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement growth strategies to expand the M-PESA outlets network. Identify new market segments and distribution channels to reach untapped audiences and drive business growth.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about regulatory requirements and industry standards related to mobile financial services. Ensure M-PESA outlets adhere to compliance guidelines and maintain the highest standards of integrity and security.
- Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with external teams, including customer support, trade representatives, regional managers to support the successful execution of growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably in the financial services or telecommunications industry.
