Job Title:Â Export Sales Manager
Reports to:Â Managing Director
Supervision:Â Distributor Sales Reps
Job Purpose:
Develop and build export businesses to surpass customer expectations and provide better returns for stakeholders while meeting business goals for development, retention, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all sales endeavors throughout East and Central Africa, attaining goals for export sales.
• Negotiate contracts and cultivate relationships at multiple levels.

• Manage accounts, develop and implement sales strategies across industries and regions.
• Formulate and execute channel marketing and distribution strategies for profitable revenue.
• Lead marketing programs to grow market share, manage advertising, promotion, and marketing budgets.
• Analyze sales data, forecast budgets, and open new markets.
• Recruit and train distributors, regularly visiting target countries.
• Prepare budgets, set sales and revenue goals, and implement new product launches.
• Maintain marketing activities for visibility, shelf share, and promotions.
• Analyze market intelligence and identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing and technical departments.
•Uphold expert client interactions and oversee the accomplishment of sales targets.
Requirements
Person Specifications:
•a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or similar disciplines.
• Professional qualifications or a master’s degree in Sales and Marketing is an added advantage.
• At least five years of sales and marketing experience, with two years in management in East and Central Africa.
• Knowledge of the operations of the regional FCMG industry and a good understanding of East and Central Africa market dynamics.
• Ability to manage relationships with distributors and negotiate terms.
• Knowledge of customs procedures and experience in budget and business process management.
• Leadership experience in sales, marketing, and business development with a proven track record.
• Analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trends.
• Ability to translate market dynamics into actionable strategies and implement them effectively.
• Position based in Nairobi with extensive travel required.
