About Ramco Group
Early in the 1940s, Mr. Rambhai traveled from the Indian state of Gujarat to Kenya. In 1948, he opened a little hardware store in Nairobi’s downtown, marking the inception of the Ramco Group. After completing their education, his three sons, Kirit, Mahendra, and Chandrakant, joined the family firm. With their strong familial bonds, the group established a strong base upon which it was able to develop and flourish. The Ramco Group first expanded within the hardware and building supply industries, which the family was well-versed in. But in 1986, the brothers expanded into printing and stainless steel, acquiring Polythene Industries and ASL Steel, respectively. These financial commitments paved the way for subsequent acquisitions and entry into other markets.
Role Description
- An HR and Payroll Assistant is needed for a full-time on-site position with Ramco Group in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Assistant will be in charge of handling Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), managing payroll administration, supervising payroll management, and assisting with HR management duties.
 Qualifications
- Â Payroll Administration and Payroll Management skills
- Human Resources (HR) and HR Management expertise
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
