P1 Teacher – NGO
Responsibilities:
- Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning.
- Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning.
- Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments,) to the learners.
- Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
- Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom.
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings.
- Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events.
- Observe and understand students’ behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, or abuse.
- Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars or conferences.
- Any other duties assigned to you by the management within your capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education Degree or Diploma in Primary Education.
- Must have a Teachers Service Commission registration.
- 2 – 5 years’ experience as a teacher and CBC competent.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, excellent written and spoken English, excellent IT skills, and excellent reporting skills.
- a willingness to adhere to the rules and regulations of the school combined with a deep understanding of teaching using best practices and legal educational principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Creative and energetic.
- Strong moral values and discipline.
- Should be able to teach English, Business Studies, CRE and Science Technology.

ECDE Teacher – NGO
Responsibilities

- Actively teach and provide a safe and stimulating learning environment.
- Adhere to the school’s code of conduct and ethics.
- Study and follow the curriculum and lesson plan as provided by the absent teacher or the principal.
- Apply various teaching techniques that are learner-centred.
- Prepare educational materials, such as notes, exercises, and additional resources
- Assign classwork and homework as required.
- Take attendance according to school policy.
- Grade learners’ assignments and provide constructive feedback.
- Record student progress and other information that will be helpful to the regular instructor in writing.
- Report any incidents regarding students’ behavior in and out of the classroom.
- Maintain a clean and safe class environment for students.
- Oversee school equipment, learning materials and ensure students use it properly.
- Assist learners who require more attention in academics or emotional development.
- Always supervise learners as required.
- Respond professionally to the learner’s needs.
- Be ready to take up other educational activities as assigned by the school management.
Qualifications
- Certificate in ECDE or Diploma in ECDE.
- Previous experience as a part-time or full-time teacher.
- 2-3 Years experience of working with children is a plus.
- extensive familiarity with instructional strategies and Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills.
