KDF shortlists 1,600 cadets, craftsmen.
The Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) has disclosed the names of those who have lately expressed interest in joining them through their online recruitment drive. This announcement was made on a Friday and it contains a total of 1,606 people who are in the running to become a part of the force, either as tradesmen and women or as specialised officers. The announcement was made on a Friday.
347 of these candidates have been chosen to serve as specialist officers, while a larger group consisting of 1,259 individuals are currently in the process of being considered for tradesmen and tradeswomen posts.
Go to the website of the Ministry of Defense, which can be found at www.mod.go.ke, if you are interested in finding out whether or not you were included on the shortlist. Candidates can readily get the comprehensive list by downloading it from the downloads part of the website, which can be found by navigating to the section. As a second option, the KDF has posted links to the list of individuals who were shortlisted on their verified social media profiles. This provides candidates with yet another way to access the list.
The interview dates and places for individuals who have successfully made the cut have been made public by the KDF, in addition to the candidate list that was released earlier. The mandate states that all businesspeople, including men and women, must report to the Embakasi Garrison in Nairobi on September 25, 2023, with the processes starting on time at 8:00 in the morning. On the other side, specialist officers are expected to show up for their interviews at the KMA in Lanet, which is located in Nakuru County, at the same time as previously scheduled.
The KDF has made it quite apparent that all applicants are required to bring four copies of their academic and professional credentials, curriculum vitaes, and any other pertinent testimonies with them to the interview in addition to the original version of their National Identity (ID) Card. They have emphasized to the applicants how important it is that they understand that they would be provided with lodging and food throughout the interview process.
KDF has a framework in place even for those applicants who are not selected for a position in the organization. Candidates who are not selected will have their road trip expenses paid for if the organization follows the regulations that have been established. The thoughtfulness of the gesture demonstrates the commitment of the KDF to maintaining fairness and transparency throughout the recruitment process.
