TSC Will Train Teachers for One Week; Schools Will Choose OCS
The TSC will begin one week of teacher training; schools will select OCS. The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is preparing to begin a one-week training program for teachers in charge of offering career help in their respective schools.
A TSC memo mandating them to assist school administrators in establishing an Office of Career Services (OCS) within their schools has already gotten positive feedback from a number of TSC County Directors.
As part of this initiative, schools must nominate a teacher to direct the Office of Career Services.
Following selection, these teachers, now known as OCS coordinators, will participate in TSC-led training sessions in their respective counties.
TSC sent a memo to all County Directors on August 16, 2023, with the title “Office of Career Services” and the reference number TSC/DQAS/MEMOS/CD/40/VOLII/89.
