Senior Promotion List at TSC
The Teaching Service Commission (TSC) has published the Senior Teacher promotion list, which is divided into two grades: Senior Teacher I and Senior Teacher II. Here’s a more in-depth look at these two Senior Teacher levels.
T-Scale 7 Senior Teacher II:
Senior Teacher II is a promotional grade that acts as a stepping stone to administration responsibilities in the teaching profession. Promotion to this grade level is contingent on a competitive selection procedure as well as the availability of job positions within the institution. Candidates must have previously served as Primary Teacher I with T-Scale 6 for a minimum of three (3) years as a condition for advancement to this grade.
Senior Teacher I (on a T-Scale of 8):
Senior Teacher I is a promotion grade designed for individuals with administrative duties in primary schools. Promotion to this grade, like Senior Teacher II, is subject to a competitive selection process and is contingent on the availability of relevant positions in the organization. To be eligible for promotion to Senior Teacher I, you must have previously served as Senior Teacher II with T-Scale 7 for a minimum of three (3) years, as well as meet other particular promotion requirements.
